Proteus Labs is compatible with:
- Meta Quest 2, 3, 3s, Pro
- Pico Neo 3, 4, 4 Ultra
- Meta Quest Pro
Yes, all experiences are compatible with both hand tracking and controllers. However, optimal hand tracking performance requires good lighting conditions, contrasting backgrounds, and slightly slower movements.
On Meta Quest 3, 3s, Pro and Pico 4 & 4 Ultra, augmented reality is displayed in color, whereas on Meta Quest 2 and Pico Neo 3, it’s in black and white.
Results are sent in Microsoft Excel format (.xlsx).
You can download the Meta app from the Horizon store by searching for “Proteus Labs.” Simply select our application, and the download is free of charge.
Pico version is opening soon on the Pico Store.

Within each laboratory, you’ll encounter a digital tablet. This tablet serves as a convenient tool for accessing the protocol, viewing results presented in tables and/or graphs, accessing the action log, and navigating the menu.
Please refer to the “What We Do” section for information on available instruments and products.
We do not collect personal information. Regular usage data is collected by the Meta Store, similar to other apps and games available there.

In the coming months, we will introduce support for multiplayer experiences, allowing up to 5 people to participate together.
Moreover, numerous new activities will be integrated into Proteus Labs, along with the introduction of the “make your own lab” mode. The publication schedule for these additions will be released in March.
The next feature to be added is the utilization of electrical circuits, which will be available in April 2024.

To install the provided updates, an internet connection is required. However, the app can be utilized without Wi-Fi connectivity in single-person mode.
