Proteus VR is a pioneer in motion detection and its integration into virtual reality. Proteus VR is one of the first applications for the Oculus Quest, which has state of the art finger tracking capabilities. Finger tracking on Quest allows for more natural interaction and increases the level of immersion of the participants. Finger tracking on the Quest facilitates VR access for people who are not familiar or comfortable with game controllers commonly known as joysticks.

Proteus VR’s next R&D steps will focus on the presence of a virtual teacher/trainer, who can communicate verbally with the learner. Other projects to follow include eye tracking and brainwave integration. All these new technologies have only one goal: to offer an intuitive and useful training platform to participants and trainers.
