The ADM project obtains a grant from ENCQOR-5G

The ADM project, which involves the use of 5G technology to allow ultra-fast communication with 3 local servers, Edge, or located in the cloud, has obtained funding from ENCQOR-5G in the series of Funded IT projects. This will facilitate the use of the Proteus virtual and augmented reality platform in conjunction with 3 different servers: NVIDIA CloudXR, multiplayer server, and servers for AI.
Communication to these 3 servers will be used to propel the Proteus platform in order to manage applications in medicine (Adam), for schools (ProteusLabs), for companies (tailor-made), and for entertainment (ProteusNOW).

ENCQOR (Evolution of Networked Services through a Corridor in Quebec and Ontario for Research and Innovation) is a transformational Canada-Quebec-Ontario partnership focused on research and innovation in the field of 5G disruptive technologies and on adoption initiatives. ENCQOR establishes the first Canadian pre-commercial corridor of 5G digital infrastructure — essential to making the digital economy a reality.
